Palheiro Golf, a premier golf course located in Madeira, Portugal, held a successful charity golf tournament raising a total of 2010 euros for Ukrainian refugees. The tournament was a resounding success, with players from around the world coming together to support a worthy cause.
The tournament featured a range of exciting competitions and challenges, including a longest drive and nearest to the pin competition. Participants also had the opportunity to take part in a raffle, with prizes including golf gear, vouchers for local restaurants, and hotel stays.
All proceeds from the tournament went directly to support Ukrainian refugees, who have been displaced by conflict in their home country. Valentina Chan and Katerina Leacock, representatives of this Association, indicated that the funds raised will be used to provide critical aid and support to those in need, including shelter, food and medical assistance.
"We are thrilled to have been able to organize this tournament and to raise funds for such an important cause," said Paul Saunders, Gold executive director of Palheiro Golf. "We are incredibly grateful to all the participants, sponsors, and volunteers who helped make this event a success."
Palheiro Golf is committed to supporting charitable causes and giving back to the community. The tournament is just one example of the many ways in which the golf course is making a positive impact on the world.
