Today we had the pleasure of welcoming a special group of around 20 people here at Palheiro Golf, and the energy was contagious!
The group was made up of 15 incredible young people, aged between 6 and 12, from the Câmara de Lobos Children and Youth Support Centre. As well as the youngsters, we were honoured to be joined by the assistants who accompanied them and the dedicated teacher Sara Mota, who coordinates this beautiful project.
All together, they explored the world of golf where they had fun on the chipping green, honing their reading and accuracy skills. Then it was time for the challenge on the driving range, with everyone transferring their energy into their impressive shots! It was a joy to see the natural talent of these youngsters in action.
More than just learning about golf, this meeting was an opportunity to exchange smiles, share experiences and build memories that will certainly remain with them for the rest of their lives. The group then set off on another adventure, this time in the beautiful Palheiro Gardens.
May this be just the first of many adventures for these bright young people.
